Your Journey

Day 1

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi, Kenya

Welcome to Kenya! Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Nairobi. Depending on your arrival time, you may choose optional excursions to help you ease into your African adventure.

Day 2

Day 2: Nairobi to Ol Pejeta Conservancy

After breakfast, depart Nairobi and drive north toward Ol Pejeta Conservancy, located between Mount Kenya and the Aberdare Mountains. Ol Pejeta is one of East Africa’s leading wildlife conservation areas and offers exceptional wildlife viewing in a less crowded environment.

Day 3

Day 3: Ol Pejeta to Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, travel south through Kenya’s scenic Great Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake surrounded by acacia forests and volcanic landscapes. Lake Naivasha is known for its birdlife, hippo populations, and peaceful environment. Activities: Boat safari across Lake Naivasha where you may see hippos, fish eagles, pelicans, and cormorants. Guided walking safari on Crescent Island, allowing you to walk among zebras, giraffes, and gazelles safely. Relaxation time at your lakeside lodge or camp. This day offers a unique break from vehicle-based safaris and allows travelers to experience nature on foot and by water.

Day 4

Day 4: Lake Naivasha to Maasai Mara National Reserve

Depart after breakfast and drive to the legendary Maasai Mara National Reserve, one of Africa’s most famous wildlife destinations. Arrive in time for lunch followed by your first game drive in the reserve.

Day 5

Day 5: Full Day in Maasai Mara

Spend the entire day exploring different regions of the Maasai Mara. Morning and afternoon game drives maximize wildlife viewing opportunities.

Day 6

Day 6: Explore Mara Triangle – Remote Wildlife Viewing

Today you will explore the Mara Triangle, a less crowded section of the Maasai Mara known for exceptional wildlife sightings and scenic river landscapes.

Day 7

Day 7: Maasai Mara to Serengeti National Park, Tanzania

After breakfast, depart for the Kenya–Tanzania border at Isebania for immigration formalities. After crossing into Tanzania, continue your journey into the Serengeti National Park with game viewing along the way. The Serengeti is famous for its vast open plains and incredible wildlife density.

Day 8

Day 8: Full Day Serengeti Safari

Enjoy a full day exploring the Serengeti ecosystem, home to one of the greatest wildlife spectacles on earth.

Day 9

Day 9: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Enjoy a morning game drive before traveling toward the Ngorongoro Highlands.

Day 10

Day 10: Ngorongoro Crater Safari

Descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a spectacular wildlife safari in one of Africa’s most unique ecosystems. The crater supports one of the highest wildlife densities in Africa.

Day 11

Day 11: Ngorongoro to Tarangire National Park

Travel to Tarangire National Park, famous for its giant baobab trees and large elephant herds. Tarangire offers a quieter safari experience and excellent wildlife viewing, especially during the dry season.

Day 12

Day 12: Tarangire to Arusha / Departure

Enjoy breakfast followed by a short morning game drive or relaxation at your lodge. You will then be transferred to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight.
