Your Journey

Day 1

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport (EBB), meet your guide, and transfer to your hotel in Kampala. Depending on arrival time, you can relax or take a short city tour. In the evening visit Entebbe Botanical Gardens. Followed by some birdwatching along Lake Victoria, topped off by a sunset lakeside dinner.

Day 2

Day 2: City Tour in Kampala

Travel from Entebbe to Kampala, visit Uganda Museum and explore Kasubi Royal Tombs. In the afternoon have lunch at a traditional Ugandan restaurant and explore Kasubi Royal Tombs. To close the day, cultural dance performance and overnight stay in Kampala in the evening.

Day 3

Day 3 – Travel to Murchison Falls National Park

Depart early for the national park for a scenic countryside drive in the morning. In the afternoon experience rhino trekking at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and continue drive to safari lodge. Relax at the lodge with optional sunset wildlife viewing.

Day 4

Day 4 - Murchison Falls – Game Drive & Boat Safari

Morning game drive searching for elephants, lions, giraffes, buffalo and antelope. A boat cruise along the river Nile and a hike to the top of Murchison Falls in the afternoon. End the day wuith wildlife photography and lodge relaxation

Day 5

Day 5 – Transfer to Kibale National Park

Drive through tea plantations and crater lakes. A forest nature walk and visiting nearby local villages. End the day with a relaxing lodge stay near rainforest.

Day 6

Day 6: Murchison Falls – Top of Falls & Transfer to Kibale Forest

Visit the top of Murchison Falls in the morning. Afterward, begin the scenic drive to Kibale Forest National Park, the primate capital of Uganda.

Day 7

Day 7: Kibale Forest – Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Swamp

Morning chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest, followed by a guided walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary to see primates and birds.

Day 8

Day 8: Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, stopping at the equator for photos. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park.

Day 9

Day 9: Queen Elizabeth – Kazinga Channel & Ishasha Plains

Morning boat cruise on Kazinga Channel, famous for its hippos and birdlife. In the afternoon, drive to the southern sector (Ishasha) to see tree-climbing lions.

Day 10

Day 10: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – Gorilla Trekking

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for gorilla trekking. This is the highlight of the trip, offering a chance to see mountain gorillas in their natural habitat.

Day 11

Day 11: Bwindi – Batwa Cultural Experience & Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Morning cultural visit to the Batwa pygmy community to learn about their traditional lifestyle. Afterward, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, one of Africa’s deepest lakes.

Day 12

Day 12: Lake Bunyonyi – Relaxation & Canoeing

Enjoy a full day of relaxation at Lake Bunyonyi. Activities include canoeing, swimming, bird watching, or hiking around the lake.

Day 13

Day 13: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

Drive to Lake Mburo National Park, known for its zebras, impalas, and beautiful landscapes. Enjoy an afternoon game drive or walking safari.

Day 14

Day 14: Lake Mburo – Morning Safari & Transfer to Kampala

Morning game drive or horseback safari in Lake Mburo. Afterward, begin the journey back to Kampala, stopping at the equator for photos.

Day 15

Day 15: Departure from Entebbe

Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy some last-minute souvenir shopping or relax at your hotel. Transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your departure.
