Your Journey
Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive south toward Amboseli National Park via the Nairobi–Mombasa highway. The journey takes approximately 4 to 5 hours and passes through rural towns and Maasai pastoral lands. Arrive at Amboseli in time for lunch at your lodge or camp followed by an afternoon game drive. Amboseli is one of Kenya’s most scenic parks and is famous for its large elephant herds and open plains with spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Wildlife commonly seen includes: Elephants, Lions and hyenas, Zebras and wildebeests, Giraffes and antelopes, Various bird species Return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Full Day Amboseli National Park
Spend the entire day exploring Amboseli National Park with morning and afternoon game drives. Amboseli’s permanent water swamps attract wildlife throughout the year, making it one of the best parks in Kenya for consistent wildlife viewing. Safari Experiences, Observation of elephant families in natural habitat, Views of Mount Kilimanjaro (weather permitting), Visits to swamp areas rich in wildlife and birdlife, Predator tracking opportunities, Scenic photography of open plains. Lunch will be served at the lodge or as a picnic inside the park depending on wildlife activity. Return to your accommodation in the evening.
Day 3: Amboseli – Tsavo West National Park
After breakfast, depart Amboseli and drive to Tsavo West National Park. The journey offers scenic views of volcanic hills and lava flows. Arrive at Tsavo West in time for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive. Tsavo West Highlights: Tsavo West features rugged landscapes, volcanic terrain, and natural springs making it one of Kenya’s most diverse parks. Safari activities include visiting:Mzima Springs – A natural freshwater oasis inhabited by hippos and crocodiles, Shetani Lava Flows – Vast volcanic formations. Rhino Sanctuary (subject to park regulations). Wildlife commonly found includes elephants, buffalo, leopards, and various antelope species.Return to the lodge or camp in the evening.
Day 4: Tsavo West – Tsavo East National Park
After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Tsavo West before departing for Tsavo East National Park via the Tsavo River Gate. Tsavo East is Kenya’s largest national park and is known for its open savannah landscapes and large elephant populations. Arrive in time for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive. Tsavo East Highlights, Red-dust elephants unique to the Tsavo ecosystem, Aruba Dam wildlife viewing area, Galana River ecosystem, Open plains ideal for wildlife spotting. Wildlife commonly seen includes lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and buffalo.
Day 5: Full Day Tsavo East National Park
After breakfast, the descent begins through alpine vegetation into moorland and forest habitats. This section provides final opportunities for bird watching and nature photography.Upon reaching Sirimon Gate, you will meet your transport and drive back to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon or early evening marking the end of the expedition.
Day 6: Tsavo East – Nairobi
After breakfast, enjoy a short morning game drive before departing Tsavo East and returning to Nairobi. Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon with drop-off at your hotel or airport.
